~My Pink Saturday Book Review~

I have had the worse May ever.  Quick rundown....first week of May...someone stole my favourite cat......third week of May, had to put our dearest pooch Cooper to rest, and last week my favourite Aunt passed away suddenly.  To say bad things happen in three's is an understatement.  I am now ready for lots of positives  no more sadness or unhappy thoughts.  Although I still have to attend my Aunts funeral on Tuesday I am glad for the opportunity to say goodbye and to remember all the wonderful things that made her so special.
Now for ~Pink Saturday~ ...it is always the one day of the week that never fails to bring a smile as I visit all those lovely Pink posts each week.
So Thankyou Beverly @ How Sweet The Sound for making the start to every weekend a wonderful happy place.

This week I wanted to share with you one of my favourite 'decorating' ideas book...Vintage Vavoom from the editors of Romantic Homes Magazine.  If you ever wanted decorating ideas, this is the ideal book.  Its shows you how to start a collection, displaying, colours, &textures.  A wonderful book full of inspiration.
Hope you enjoy.

  14. Hi Michelle, thanks for stopping by, I'm so sorry for your loss of your Aunt and your pets. How sad for you, I will keep you in my prayers. I had my cat stolen years ago but by luck we got him back. We were walking around town and calling his name, a lady came home from work and he must have been right inside the front door hearing us call him and shen she unlocked the front door he cam running out and right into my arms. I was so happy to have him back. I just looked at her and walked away with him. LOL Love that book I have it also.
    Have a great weekend! Shirl

  18. Michelle- It is really difficult to lose those we love and it just takes awhile to come to terms with it. Unfortunatly, troubles also come in 5's and 1's and 2's etc. Trouble and sorrow are just part of the human condition. I wish you loving comfort and caring arms.
The book is sooo sweet! And so are you for stopping in and visiting my 1st PS. Hope to hear from you soon.
    Blessings, L

  23. Happy Pink Saturday. That book looks wonderful. I would love to have a copy. Isn't that jadeite collection pretty? I hardly ever see jadeite on my hunts. Wonder if it is more prevalent in other parts of the country? xo Lynn

  24. Hello Michelle and a very late Happy Pink Saturday!

I am so sorry for all of your losses and hope life settles down a bit for you. That was all a bit too much for anyone!

I am going to have to to look for that book! I adored the table with the shabby white box of roses.....actually, I like it all!

I am late because I could not get on my blog after I posted. It kept loading and reloading and then it went blank and froze up my computer. This has been going on for two days and I just learned that Blogger has corrupt cookies that have impacted on some of us. I had to find a whole new route in.

Anyway, I hope you are feeling a bit better and that this next week will be a perfect one for you!
    Hugs,
    Jil
