~Learning New Skills~

This week I have been rearranging my sewing room and trying to make it better organised, and with more room to move around and less tripping stuff on the floor.  I have a system when I finish a project I do a really good clean so that everything is put away and I have a clean work area to start the next idea.....I have also been trying to learn Tunisian Crochet by watching YouTube videos.  Dont you just love how you can learn just about anything on the internet..
Thank you to Beverley from How Sweet The Sound for hosting.

~In The Sewing Room~

~I find it really hard to cut up pretty  fabrics......I tend to hoard them as well.  I have a piece of Donna Dewberry fabric that I have been hoarding forever that I have never had the heart to use....maybe  its time to sell it on so that someone else can either hoard ir or actually use it to make something~

~Works in Progress~

~I currently have about 5 different projects on the go......I start something, then have a brainwave about something else and start that and on it goes.  Some end up in the UFO pile or some end up in the.... finished, now what am I going to do with it pile.  I should set up a shop  on my fb page....but I have been saying that forever  too....I am a terrible procrastinater.~

A basket stand I revamped last year...it went from Country to Shabby Sweet

Below is some of the shabby fabrics and notions on my sewing table atm

~Kris Kringle 2014~

~I totally forgot to share with you what I got for my Kris Kringle last year (sorry  Rebecca )  It is  gorgeous shabby sweet arm chair sewing caddy. The detail, fabrics and sewing is just beautiful.   All handmade by Rebecca from Bec's Bags and Handmade on fb. I plan to put it to good use this winter.~
