~Op Shop Treasures~

~Another week has sped by so fast...where does the time go.   On the spur of the moment I decided to pop into an op-shop on my way home from work.  I dont go to this one very often as it has become more of a clothing store and less of a treasure hunt lol.  Anyways I looking through what is left of the 70's reject crockery (just not my taste) when I spotted this delightful silver coffee service.  Love silver ware...even enjoy polishing it occassionally.  Couldn't grab it quick enough ( and yes I look around to make sure no one is going to grab it out from under me lol)  Finished looking through the crockery but nothing else caught my eye.  Off to the register I went when I saw a hint of PINK in the cabinet under the register.  Imagine my delight when it turned out to be a powder puff...although no overly vintage (probably Avon) I didnt care it was..... PINK! Now I was grinning like a silly cheshire cat.  Standing at the register happily paying for my treasures when I glanced to my left and in the cheap basket (which never gets a glance cause it is always full of uglies) there to my delight where 4 rose bud egg cups.  By this time I am must be looking like a right fool with this huge grin on my face.  I couldnt get them on the counter quick enough.  They are Made in Japan and cute as...not much good for holding boiled eggs (they slip sideways) but stunning pink and green colours.

My spur of the moment shop was the best ever :)

The Clashing of the Prim & the Shabby

I have to say I am a bit all over the place at the moment.  My FB page is about my past love of Counrty which I am also trying to sell to make room for more shabby...so I am trying really hard to keep the theme of country on there.  My dilema is I keep posting shabby pictures from pinterest etc and now my page in fear of becoming a total conflict.  I loved my country look immensely  from the timber pot holder over the sink to the rusty vintage hook that hung from it and everything else everywhere else, books to bears, blue and white china to cloth dolls.  One word....obsessed...thats me....well now I am shabby obsessed...I just have to keep it off my FB page if I plan to sell anything.  please if you have a chance to pop over and click that little like button for me because the more that see my page the more likely I am to sell my country and buy more shabby.

Its that lovely day of the week when we pop over to Miss Beverleys @ How Sweet The Sound for a pinkalicious day.

I had a  fabulous Easter Weekend away spent at a shack on the beach in a town called Wallaroo with great friends.  And it was a real treat to wake up early every morning and go for a 4 km walk (something I am never motivated to do a home) on the beach and watch the sun rise.  Hope you have a fantastic Easter.

~Creative Woes~

I am having designing woes.  I just cant get in the creative mood.  Still trying to get my fb shop up and running and direct traffic to it which is very time consuming but I am getting there slowing.  I have met some wonderful cyber friends with this little adventure as I have blogging, and I sold my first item today as well.

I hope if you have the time you will pop by and have a look.  Its not shabby but my love before shabby...thats why it has to go...to make room for more shabby.
