~Pinterest~

Feeling a little pleased with myself this morning. I have been trying to add my pinterest badge to my blog for two days and it just hasn't worked. I have a very good understanding of HTML code but for the life of me I couldn't get it to work. Long story short the light bulb went on this morning and it worked. Now after all that effort I hope you will pop over and check out the 40,000 plus pictures I have pinned. Did I mention I am a little bit obsessive lol. Pinning has saved me a fortune on decorating....after all the thrill of the hunt is the acquiring and all I need to do is pin it and the want/need is suppressed. Pinning is a great way to waste a few hours or more or just lose track of time altogether. The Clashing of the Prim & the Shabby

I have to say I am a bit all over the place at the moment.  My FB page is about my past love of Counrty which I am also trying to sell to make room for more shabby...so I am trying really hard to keep the theme of country on there.  My dilema is I keep posting shabby pictures from pinterest etc and now my page in fear of becoming a total conflict.  I loved my country look immensely  from the timber pot holder over the sink to the rusty vintage hook that hung from it and everything else everywhere else, books to bears, blue and white china to cloth dolls.  One word....obsessed...thats me....well now I am shabby obsessed...I just have to keep it off my FB page if I plan to sell anything.  please if you have a chance to pop over and click that little like button for me because the more that see my page the more likely I am to sell my country and buy more shabby.

~Creative Woes~

I am having designing woes.  I just cant get in the creative mood.  Still trying to get my fb shop up and running and direct traffic to it which is very time consuming but I am getting there slowing.  I have met some wonderful cyber friends with this little adventure as I have blogging, and I sold my first item today as well.

I hope if you have the time you will pop by and have a look.  Its not shabby but my love before shabby...thats why it has to go...to make room for more shabby.

I need Your Shabbalicious Help

Life has been very busy and I know thats no excuse but what can I say....I am turning into a lazy blogger.

~Winners & Losers~

I have been noticing in recent months a few unhappy people blogging here and on fb about winning giveaways and then never hearing again from the people offering the giveaway nor receiving what they supposedly won.  This is sad both for the person who won but more so for the person who held the giveaway, cause bad news spreads quicker than good.  

The huge majority of people who have giveaways do deliver and follow through, as these are a great way to boost followers and to increase shop sales.  People love to blog about their win and will praise the person who offered the prize in a very positive light which is just good business.

So my advice is this.....If you are offering a giveaway......make every effort to contact the winner...but most of all...follow through and send them their item they won....for they will reward you with their loyalty and friendship and sing your praises to everyone.
