My day has started horrible. My favourite cat has gone missing since last night so I walked the neighbourhood this morning looking for her and dropping flyers in letterbox's to see if anyone has seen her. She is an extremely friendly cat who greets anyone who walks down our street and that may be the problem in that someone has taking a liking to her and picked her up. I have even asked the neighbourhood kids to keep an eye out for her.
So I needed to get out for a while , so I decided to visit my local charity shops and here are my lucky Pink finds...
A Pink almost complete dinnerset....not the prettiest I have ever seen but pink nonetheless and great for everyday use. Sorry for the piccy's...my camera is making everything look orange.
Now these are adorable...pretty Pink Polka Dot curtains with matching tiebacks for $4.00. These are going in my guest bedroom which I am still in the process of doing up.
A pretty vintage hankerchief with a little Pink grub rose.
A vintage Avon bottle with Pink lid (in need of a clean I think)
Although not pink these are my bargain of the day...two matching vintage carver chairs for $5.00 each. Perfect for a shabby makeover I think.
Last but not least a couple of punnets of pink pansies to brighten up the entrance.
I think I did pretty well. I would rather have my cat home but at least it made me forget for a little while.
Poor you, we've had a few cats over the years and one in particular was a little monkey like yours! Hope she returns home soon to share your lovely pink finds :)

Really hoping your find your cat very soon. You did have a lot of lovely finds!
ReplyDeleteS Sweet Michelle...I love your pretty pink treasures but am so sad about your cat. I have dogs and if it were me, I would be broken hearted too. Hope you find your sweet cat!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThankyou everyone...she is still not home so I will be back out looking tomorrow. She is a part of my family along with 2 other cats and five dogs. My animals mean everything to me.
ReplyDeleteKeep your fingers and toes crossed for me :)
Oh what pretty dishes and I love that pretty bottle!!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby went Walmart here last week and since our first safe planting date is After Mother's day we have not plants yet.
He went to a florist / greenhouse and said he was desperate for his wife's sanity to get something to plant preferably pansies as they will go through cold snap if we have one. They don't open till this next weekend but felt sorry for him and let him go in and get some six packs! $4.00 a six pack!!! He said he knew I wouldn't have bought them at that price but that I needed them so they were my little (expensive) love gift - gotta love him!
Hello Michelle. thank you for visiting my blog. Yours is so pretty I just LOVE your pansies!
ReplyDeleteI hope by the time you read this your kitty is home safe and sound.
All the best,
Holly
I do hope your cat finds her way home unscathed.
ReplyDeleteI love my cats too!
Sandie xx
